Верификация этиологии респираторных инфекций нижних дыхательных путей необходима для определения тактики ведения пациентов и направлений профилактической работы. В качестве основных причин респираторных вирусных инфекций рассматривают респираторно-синцитиальный вирус, вирусы гриппа А и В, вирусы парагриппа 1, 2, 3 типов и аденовирус. Структура респираторных инфекций зависит от возраста, сезона, региона проживания. Анализ результатов исследований, проведённых в разных странах мира, показал значительные колебания частоты верификации респираторных вирусов – от 25 до 90%. Однако практически повсеместно при вирусном поражении нижних дыхательных путей ведущие позиции занимает респираторно-синцитиальный вирус, достигая максимума в группе детей до 1 года.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Acute lower respiratory tract infections are the leading cause of global morbidity and mortality in children under five years. Verification of the etiology of acute lower respiratory tract infections is necessary for definition of treatment and direction of prevention. Respiratory syncytial virus, influenza A and B, parainfluenza 1, 2, and 3 and adenovirus are considered the main reasons of acute lower respiratory tract infections. The importance of different viruses depends on countries, district, seasons and ages of children. Analysis of the results of studies from different regions of the world showed fluctuations in frequency of etiology definition of respiratory viruses from 25 to 90%.
