Оценить наличие, специфичность и напряженность клеточного ответа можно путем исследования реакции клеток иммунной системы на специфические раздражители, такие как антиген. К основным реакциям на антиген-стимуляцию относятся продукция цитокинов, пролиферация и цитотоксичность. В данном обзоре рассмотрен интерферон-гамма как один из центральных Тх1 цитокинов: его биология, иммунологическая роль и использование в качестве маркера клеточного иммунного ответа.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Cellular immune response plays a central role in control of intracellular pathogens like viruses, some bacteria and parasites. Evaluation of presence, specificity and strength of cellular immune response can be done by investigation of reaction of immune cells to specific stimulus, like antigen. The major cellular reactions to antigen stimulation are production of cytokines, proliferation and cytotoxicity.
