Применялась транскраниальная магнитная стимуляция (ТКМС) с оценкой амплитуды, формы и латентности вызванного моторного ответа (ВМО) и времени центрального моторного проведения (ВЦМП).</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты: после перенесенного серозного менингита у 69–73% пациентов наблюдаются изменения диффузного характера, патогномоничные для нарушения возбудимости мотонейронов коры (снижение амплитуд вызванных моторных ответов), которые также могут расцениваться как признаки снижения их количества (диффузная нейродегенерация). Признаки поражения аксонов (значительное удлинение латентностей ВМО) регистрируются у 12–15% пациентов.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение: при серозном менингите в большинстве случаев преобладают признаки диффузного поражения мотонейронов.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Aim of our study was to investigate central motor pathways involvement in children in early recovery period after the aseptic meningitis.</p><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods: 65 patients (40 children with average age 12 years with aseptic meningitis and 25 age matched controls) were enrolled. TMS (single-pulse protocol) with MEP shape, latency and amplitude and CMCT averaged and analyzed.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results: In aseptic meningitis group in 69–73% of the patients diffuse TMS parameters changes were seen (MEPs amplitudes lowering). These changes may be interpreted as motoneurons diffuse functional activity lowering, but also as a signs of neurodegenerative process of a certain degree. Axonal lesions (MEPs latency lengthening) was registered in 12–15% of the patients of aseptic meningitis group.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion.
