Оценена роль плаценты как барьера, препятствующего инфицированию плода, а также патологические изменения в ворсинчатом хорионе, нарушающие барьерную функцию плаценты.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Review deals with HIV infection in pregnant women and mechanisms of vertical transmission of virus from mother to fetus.
